Imagination is a great gift and fortunately there is no such thing as a totally unimaginative child. “Our children at Crawford Pre-Primary have wonderful imaginations and imagination is the power of the mind to work over and weave into new forms, the images received from experience. All children often have a specially rich make-believe world, as well as a great interest in the real world” says Sulochnee Nair, Principal for Crawford Pre-Primary Pretoria.
We believe, in Crawford Pre-Primary, that a child’s use of fantasy and imagination should be encouraged by the provision of materials by which the child can create new forms and play out aspects of life in the world they see around them. Fantasy play also provides the opportunity to play out fears, apprehensions, good experiences and aspirations.
