DAILY PROGRAMME FOR GRADE 000
We follow the ‘Integrated Day Programme’. Directed Periods’ and ‘Free Choice Periods.’

07h30: Children start arriving at school
08h00 – 08h30: Early morning greeting routine/activities Neuro Development exercises
08h30 – 09h00: Teacher directed activity – music and movement, drama, dance, song and discussion. Toilet routine
09h00 – 10h00: Free Play– garden, fringe activities, creative activities, fantasy play, cognitive-puzzles, games, construction toys, blocks
10h00 – 10h30: Toilet routine and snack time
10h30 – 11h00: Teacher directed perceptual activities
11h00 – 11h15: Skills
11h15 – 11h55: Outdoor free play
11h55 – 12h10: Toilet routine, pack bags
12h10 – 12h30: THRASS
Story and language enrichment, rest, home

Specialist lessons included during the week
Busy Ballers (Physical Education)

Age Requirements for Grade 000
Children who are turning 4 within the year are eligible for entry into Grade 000.
If a child is born in the second half of the year and is not ready in all areas of their development to move to the next grade, they may, after discussion with the parents, repeat the grade.

Outings and Innings
Outings and Innings are organised throughout the school year. During the first and fourth terms we arrange an Inning – a show or educational demonstration that takes place at school. During the second and third terms, the children are taken on an Outing related to the educational theme. We use the Crawford school bus to transport children and take parents with us to help with the supervision and safety of the children.

11h55 – 12h10: Toilet routine, pack bags
12h10 – 12h30: THRASS
Story and language enrichment, rest, home
