Academics

Crawford International Colleges prepare students for responsible adulthood and potential leadership. With a choice of more than 20 subjects, students are offered the opportunity to pursue special areas of interest as part of our holistic approach to education. Students are also encouraged to participate in various extra-curricular activities.

Crawford International Colleges offer the widest and most flexible subject choices for students from Grade 10 – 12. The timetable allows for numerous combinations of subjects, and each student is timetabled individually, according to their subject requirements.

Grade 12 students write the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examination as their final matric examination. We measure our students’ performance against credible international standards. Students also write benchmarking tests.

Crawford Colleges Are Founded on the Following Principles:

  • The individuality of each student is paramount. We endeavour to ensure each student achieves his/her full potential.
  • Students are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Independent thought is nurtured.
  • Students adhere to a code of conduct, ensuring accountability and mutual respect.
  • Small classes ensure individual attention.
  • Excellence in teaching is achieved through expert, passionate teachers.
  • Teachers receive ongoing training and development.
  • Matric students have an opportunity to select their teachers.
  • Seniors can select an eight-subject timetable as a standard offering with after-hours support for additional subjects chosen.
